Built on small jobs done right

Steady Home Works started with a simple observation: everyone knows a great roofer, but almost nobody knows a handyman who actually shows up for the small stuff. The loose railing. The sticking door. The grab bar that would keep someone independent for five more years. Those jobs matter — to the safety of the house and the dignity of the people in it.

So we built a business entirely around them. We’re based in Kensington, right in the Town of Berlin, which puts us a short drive from thirteen central-Connecticut towns. Our crew is licensed and insured, our estimates are written before we start, and our standard is simple: every job finished the way we’d finish it in our own homes.

We’re especially proud of the work we do for seniors, families, and home-care providers — the careful, in-home repairs that let people stay where they belong. That side of our business has its own page, because it deserves its own attention.
